REQUIREMENTS

Prerequisites

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Certified Basic Operations Firefighter (Firefighter II) by the Illinois Office of the State Fire Marshal.
• Current IDPH licensure as an EMT-B or EMT-P (Paramedic).
• Current CPAT (Candidate Physical Ability Test) certification with Ladder Climb.
